I mean the fact that Dylan’s character will be playing a crucial role isn’t exactly a spoiler alert considering the fact that he IS a main character but it’s exciting nonetheless! Teen Wolf’s showrunner, Jeff Davis spoke with Entertainment Weekly and revealed that the majority of the story will be about Stiles. He told the magazine QUOTE – “When we were going into discussing this season, knowing that Dylan had a big movie he was going off to do, we wanted to make sure that Stiles was going to be a very important part of Teen Wolf 6A. So a lot of this story is about Stiles. We’re going to see just what Stiles’ friendship means to Scott, Lydia, and Malia. We’re going to see why exactly he’s Scott’s best friend, what it means that he’s Malia’s human anchor, and what his will-they-or-won’t-they relationship is with Lydia.”
And by big movie, Jeff is of course referring to the Maze Runner: The Death Cure during which Dylan actually suffered an unfortunate injury while filming. Coincidentally many of the promo photos for Teen Wolf season 6 show Dylan with an injury, but turns out that the two are unrelated. The Teen Wolf promo photos were actually taken before Dylan left to work on the Maze Runner: Death Cure so the injusry we see in the promo photos was actually written into the show for episode 1.
Season 6 is set to hit MTV this fall, so I want to hear what you guys think. Are you excited to see what’s going to happen with Stiles?
