Ed Sheeran has been MIA for quite a bit, so it kinda makes sense that his return involves a song, a ukulele, and a tear or two.
If you’ve been wondering where the heck Ed Sheeran has been or what he’s been up to during his break, look no further because I’ve got the answer right here.
Ed Sheeran has been doing a pretty good job at staying out of the spotlight, but the singer recently came out of hiding to serenade a 9-year-old fan named Melody who spent most of her life in a hospital. In a Facebook video uploaded by her mother, Ed is sitting bedside while singing his song ‘Photograph’ to Melody with a ukulele. Making people tear up and cry is a part of Ed’s specialty, so you might wanna grab a tissue or two for what you’re about to see.
What a sweet, sweet moment between the two. According to Melody’s mom, the young girl was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Rett Syndrome at birth and is unable to walk or talk. She has spent about 80 percent of her life in hospitals, undergone more than 40 operations and while doctors expected Melody to live a few years, she’s actually turning 10 in December – so Ed’s little musical appearance was like an early birthday present for Melody.
