We all know T-Swift currently has a blank space in the dating category, but let it be known that Eddie Redmayne has NEVER written his name.
Prior to the Calvin Harris era, and long before the Tom Hiddleston age, Taylor Swift was rumored to have her eye set on yet another British lad. In early 2012, it was reported that Taylor and Eddie Redmayne had gone on a date, but that all changed earlier this week when audience members phoned in to ask Eddie questions during Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, and Eddie was quick to shut it down.
Conveniently enough, 2012 was the year that Eddie rose to stardom in the Les Miserables film, so it’s not too surprising that rumors spread after the two both auditioned for the same film. Although Eddie revealed that he’s never dated Taylor, he did have some kind words to say about her Les Mis audition.
Eddie once again confirmed that although they spent time during the audition together, that, NO, they never went out, but that QUOTE, “She was extraordinary.” Taylor auditioned for the role of Eponine, along with many other A-Listers, including Lea Michele, Evan Rachel Wood and Scarlett Johansson, which eventually went to Samantha Barks.
