Emma Watson finally meets Hermione!!
Harry Potter is the gift that keeps on giving for Emma Watson!
Emma Watson, who made her mark in Hollywood by playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film franchise attended the stage production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London last night and lost all chill.
She took to Facebook to not only give her Potterhead stamp of approval but to also fangirl a little saying:
“I came in with no idea what to expect and it was AMAZING. Some things about the play were, I think, possibly even more beautiful than the films. Having seen it I felt more connected to Hermione and the stories than I have since Deathly Hallows came out, which was such a gift.”
Actress Noma Dumezweni plays Hermione onstage and Emma got a chance to sneak backstage to snap a couple of pics with her and Emma definitely had an experience saying “Meeting Noma and seeing her on stage was like meeting my older self and have her tell me everything was going to be alright, which as you can imagine was immensely comforting (and emotional)!”
Emma also met some of Noma’s other cast members including Sam Clemmett, who plays Albus Severus, and Anthony Boyle, who plays Scorpius.
