Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil met representatives of TikTok and Facebook parent company Meta yesterday to discuss issues involving content regulation.

Fahmi said they discussed Palestine-related content being removed from TikTok, online gambling, and coordinated inauthentic behaviour.

Earlier, Fahmi revealed there were evidence and consumer complaints that TikTok systematically removed content from Malaysia related to the Palestine-Israel conflict.
