欧盟禁止进口棕油，严重打击本地油棕业，为此联邦土地统一及复兴局（Felcra）促请政府暂停与欧盟其他协议的谈判，直到欧盟解决杯葛油棕进口。该局主席纳基华合指出， 政府必须停止与欧盟协商其他的事物，直到欧盟针对进口棕油作出决定。
