Fifth Harmony DELAYS Album Release To Avoid Ariana Grande?

Fifth Harmony just pushed back their album’s release date, and many are speculating that the group doesn’t want to compete with chart topper Ariana Grande and her upcoming album Dangerous Woman.
7/27 was set to be released on May 20th, but the girls took to Instagram over the weekend to announce that they’ll be postponing the release 1 week!
Fifth Harmony posted this video on April 22end to announce the push back of their sophomore album and at least they thought of a clever reason, take a look!

So the album will now be released on April 27 which does seemingly fit the album’s title 7/27 and the 47 second long clip featured all 5 girls, revealing that it just feels right to them…
7/27 actually represents the date that the girls originally auditioned as solo artists, but were then put together as a five piece girl group on the second season of the X Factor USA on July 27, 2012.
Although they have a good reason to change up the date, everyone on social media basically flipped out, accusing the girls of changing the date to avoid competing with Ariana Grande’s third studio Album, Dangerous Woman, which is also set to be released on May 20th!
People took to Twitter writing things like “7/27 has no longer the same release date as Ariana’s Dangerous Woman.” AND “Fifth Harmony pushing their album back because they’re threatened by Ariana they’re so embarrassing I can’t.” And finally saying things like… “Fifth harmony changed the date to the 27th because they knew Ariana was gonna snatch that #1 spot lmao.”
I didn’t say it… They did. Although with the success Fifth Harmony has had as of late it’s safe to say the girls would give Ariana a run for their money.
I’m just happy to see Camilla join the girls for the video seeing that she’s been MIA as of late… KIDDING, kind of!!!
