It’s no secret that Ariana Grande is one of the hardest working artists in showbiz, and a new photo of the ‘God is a Woman’ songstress is proving that fact once again.
Ari posted a photo to her Instagram Story of what looks like a recording studio sans any explanation or caption on Monday, and followed it up with a cryptic Tweet that said QUOTE, “Music is the best medicine.”
Ariana JUST dropped her ‘Sweetener’ album on August 17th, but based on that Tweet we can totally understand why she’d want to get straight back to work.
Ari has been going through a very stressful time lately, to say the least, so it’s no surprise that she’s channeling all of that into her favorite creative outlet. Ari admitted that she was dealing with PTSD after the Manchester bombing attack at her concert last year, and earlier in the year she and Mac Miller split after two years of dating. Things didn’t exactly quiet down for Ari after that, as her whirlwind engagement to Pete Davidson lead to every media outlet on the planet following the couple’s every move, 24/7. Finally, Mac Miller’s shocking overdose death last month reportedly devastated Ari, and she subsequently took a break from the spotlight -- skipping the Emmys and her scheduled guest appearance and performance on the season premiere of SNL.
Ari has always been open and honest with her fans, and she’s often used Twitter as a way to communicate her feelings. Just last week she Tweeted QUOTE, “Can I pls have one OK day. just one. Pls. I’m so tired pls.” Concerned fans responded to the Tweets, which prompted Ari to follow up with a deeper explanation that read QUOTE, “ur angels in my life. it’s just been a tough month. i’m trying to get my work done and get back to normal and it’s hard and i’m human and tired. sorry i let u in or worried u. i shouldn’t have tweeted. i kno better.”
Honestly we are so glad Ariana is taking the stress and anxiety she’s going through right now and channeling it into her creative outlet. We can’t think of a healthier or more productive way to power through tough times. So once again, Ari is setting up an amazing example to fans, just by being who she is.
Alright guys now I wanna hear from you -- do you think it’s too soon for Ari to be back to work in the studio, or do you think making music is the best form of self care for her right now?
