Fifth Harmony sends fans an EMOTIONAL goodbye in their final music video, “Don’t Say Me You Love Me”
Harmonizers -- it’s time to get the tissues, ice cream, and waterproof mascara ready.
After six years of incredible songs and videos, Fifth Harmony just released their FINAL music video as a group -- at least for now, hopefully. The video features all four girls dressed up in beautiful formal gowns in an empty studio warehouse, as they each take turns belting their hearts out to the devastatingly poignant lyrics to “Don’t Say Me You Love Me”. Lauren kicks things off looking like an actual ANGEL as she sings her part.
Normani’s solo is next, followed by Ally and Dinah.
Finally, the 5H women come together to belt out the chorus towards the end of the song -- and it’s clear that each of the four ladies is truly giving it their all for this last video.
And in case that wasn’t enough to get the waterworks going, they end the the music video with each member individually walking out the door. It’s a clear yet pretty heartbreaking metaphor for each of ladies leaving 5H to focus on their solo careers.
Why is saying goodbye so hard?! Probably because it feels like Fifth Harmony still has SO much more potential and incredible music to create and share as a group. That being said, we’re so excited to see what the ladies come out with as individual artists, so leaving on such a bittersweet note with this music video definitely feels fitting.
Okay Harmonizers, what’s your reaction to “Don’t Say You Love Me” being 5H’s last music video?
