Deputy Finance Minister Amiruddin Hamzah has revealed that the government is keeping tabs on Malaysians with overseas bank accounts to make sure they declare their income.
He added that the government will look for potential tax evasion via the Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) which grants the government access to information of overseas bank accounts held by Malaysians.
