The Finance Ministry intends to recover as much money as it can from the Equanimity super yacht, which will be the custody of the Malaysian Government on Tuesday.
Speaking to the press at the Parliament lobby on Monday, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said the immediate plan was for the Attorney General to ensure all the paperwork was in order and proper controls were imposed.
The yacht, which purportedly belongs to fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, also known as Jho Low, is expected to arrive in Port Klang from Batam, Indonesia on Tuesday afternoon.
