Dr Mahathir Mohamad is prepared to donate the billions of ringgit he has been accused of stealing but is seeking Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s assistance.
Since the former premier claims to have not seen the loot and is clueless about its whereabouts, he is hoping that his successor can shed some light.
“Anwar said those who stole billions should bring it back and help the poor Malays. I am willing to bring back 100 percent of the funds which I have been accused of amassing and donating all of it to the poor. But Anwar needs to tell me where the money is,” he said.
