US-based human rights lawyer Kimberly Motley wants to meet Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to advocate for the immediate release of jailed opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim.
Motley, who had just arrived from Afghanistan, told a press conference in Petaling Jaya yesterday that Anwar has been inprisoned unjustly and everyday that he is in prison is a stain against Malaysia's record of human rights.
