In January 2013, YouTube star Gabi DeMartino tweeted QUOTE “Justin Bieber, I’m in love with you.” One year later, the “No Brainer” singer was asking her out on a date and — get this!! — she said NO! Here’s the tea, which she spilled in a recent vlog titled “Justin Bieber asked me out (not clickbait).”
Gabi saw Justin during New York Fashion Week back in 2014 and immediately ran up to him to chat because she was a huge fan. She recalls QUOTE “When I went up to him he was asking me all these questions like, ‘What’s your name? Where are you from?’ He told me I was beautiful and then asked me what I was doing after the fashion show.”
The encounter happened around Valentine’s Day, so Gabi told the Biebs that she had plans her then-boyfriend and wouldn’t be able to hang out.
Gabi was sure to show that picture of herself and JB so people know she isn’t making this insane story up.
She added QUOTE “You guys will probably think I’m making this up but I swear to God i’m not. It’s just crazy!”
Although the pair didn’t end up hanging out like Justin wanted, Gabi has always wondered what could’ve been, especially whenever she sees pictures of the singer with now-wife Hailey Baldwin.
Gabi has been happily dating boyfriend Collin Vogt (vote) for more than three years now, so while she didn’t find love with Justin, she’s still getting her happily ever after.
