Gigi Hadid BLASTED By Agents of SHIELD's Chloe Bennet For Racist Gesture

Gigi’s actions may have not bothered her boyfriend, but they sure rubbed Chloe Bennet the wrong way.
There were many mixed reactions when the video of Gigi seemingly mocking “Asian eyes” came out. Some were offended, while others like her boyfriend Zayn brushed it off and called it a joke. However, Agents of SHIELD star Chloe Bennet was not amused by Gigi’s “joke.” The actress took to Instagram to express her disappointment with the super model.
Chloe addressed her message to Gigi, writing QUOTE, “Dear Gigi Hadid, As a kid, (and frankly as an adult) people would make fun of me for being Chinese. For having “Asian eyes.” I would laugh it off because it was always a “joke,” and if I didn’t I was being “too sensitive.” But in reality it made me feel horrible. Like, just BEING ME was a joke that was not meant to be taken seriously. I was embarrassed of who I was.”
The actress went on to say that she did all sorts of things like dying her hair blonde to look less Asian to fit in to the “norm” and things like that. Chloe continued with QUOTE, “It hurts my heart to see someone like you, a beautiful young woman with so much influence, act in this considerate way. This does not make you a bad person or racist, however, it does make you ignorant to the pain that your actions can cause others. No matter how unintentional those actions are.”
Chloe ended her letter to Gigi with an uplifting bang and apologized for her many run on sentences. But before she completely signed off, Chloe made one last comment to another famous face who recently made an insensitive joke towards Asian people. She said QUOTE, “P.S. While I’m at it, Asian men are super sexy. So with all due respect, fuck you Steve Harvey.”
Well, that’s one way to end a message. Gigi still has yet to make a statement since that fateful video was shared.
