During a forum held in a pub in Bangsar on Sunday, prominent economist Prof Datuk Dr Woo Wing Thye said government-linked companies (GLCs) have been long been used as an instrument of political patronage during the previous rule in Malaysia. He added that the GLCs need to be reformed.
