The Finance Ministry may announce a new fuel subsidy mechanism for e-hailing drivers this week or in the coming weeks, its deputy minister Lim Hui Ying said.
She told the Dewan Rakyat that the government is studying the matter.
“Maybe in a few weeks, or this week, the Finance Ministry will announce (the mechanism),” she said in response to a question from Abdul Latiff Abdul Rahman (PN-Kuala Krai).
