DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng has challenged PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang to show proof on his claims that DAP had sought foreign intervention.
He said the claims were baseless and slanderous and urged Hadi to name the person who was involved in seeking foreign intervention.
During a ceramah in Terengganu on April 11 Hadi had hit out at critics who had slammed PAS’ ties with Umno, following his tabling of the amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 (Act 355) in Parliament.
Hadi said at least the Islamist party was not seeking foreign intervention, but worked with Umno to promote Islam.
