Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng told the press on Thursday that former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak should prove if 1MDB CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy earned a high salary before joining the state fund.
Previously, Najib said Arul Kanda took a huge pay cut after joining 1MDB. He was offered RM5mil as salary for six months from January to June 2018 when helming 1MDB. Lim said his ministry will file a civil suit to claim the RM2.5 million already paid to Arul Kanda.
