Is Lucy Hale Joining Riverdale? Here's Why Fans Of The Show Think So

Could Lucy Hale be joining the cast of Riverdale? One Instagram comment is making the Internet think that’s a definite possibility.
I mean, it would only make sense for Lucy Hale to jump from one mystery series to another.
Just a few days ago, Madelaine Petsch, who plays our favorite Riverdale mean girl, Cheryl Blossom, posted an adorable pic of our four favorite Cheerleaders from the show. The caption read, “Put your leg on my hip, when you dip I dip, we dip.”.
Of course, this gave Riverdale fans all the feels, including Lucy Hale, who took to the comments and wrote, “I want to superimpose myself into this.” But what had fans really freaking out, was Madelaine’s response to her comment, which read, QUOTE, “we shall recreate when you’re here.”
Now, we’re not exactly sure what “here” means. It could just mean the next time they hang out since they are both currently shooting in Canada or it could be next time they work together on set, meaning Lucy Hale is joining the cast of Riverdale. Okay, that one may be a bit of a stretch. But another fan did comment asking if Lucy would be joining the cast, and Madelaine responded “YASSSS” with heart eye emojis. And last week, Lucy did take a “Which Riverdale character are you?” quiz. So, we’ll have to wait and see on this one.
One celeb we do know for sure who’s joining the cast for season 2, is Supergirl’s Brit Morgan, who is reportedly playing Penny Peabody. So we do have that new face to look forward to next season!
