Lucy Hale Almost TURNED DOWN Pretty Little Liars Role

Lucy Hale who played Aria Montgomery in the hit Freeform show Pretty Little Liars, revealed she actually almost turned the role down! Turns out, at the same time she was offered the role of Aria she was also offered a role in another pilot. But Lucy’s gut was leaning towards PLL. She said quote, “There was just something about that name that kept replaying in my head and I knew that that was probably the right decision to make.”
Lucy also admitted that the other pilot offer had bigger stars and that it would have been easy to get caught up in the glitz and glamour but at the end of the day you have to listen to the little voice inside of yourself. She said quote, “But I think the reason I made the choice for PLL was that creatively it really excited me.”
Well, we couldn't be happier that she made the choice she did because we got the amazing character of Aria for seven years on a show that created the best social-media army and family there is.
