DAP has dismissed the remark from the daughter of the late Karpal Singh, Sangeet Kaur Deo, that her father would have disapproved of Dr Mahathir Mohamad as Pakatan Harapan's candidate for prime minister.
The party's secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said that DAP is a democratic party which allowed its members to express different views over various issues.
Lim also denied that the decision to name Mahathir as the prime ministerial candidate was widely criticised by DAP members.
