A group of 90 Umno division chiefs from across the country have shown solidarity for party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
This followed calls by MCA and MIC for Zahid to step down as BN chairperson.
The group’s spokesperson Mohd Shafie Abdullah, who is Wangsa Maju Umno division chief, claimed that a total of 130 division chiefs had vowed to support Zahid.
