Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Yunos said the division leaders asking party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to step down are a 'minority'.
He said it would not be right for only 13 division leaders to speak on behalf of all divisions.
Yesterday, several Umno division chiefs who weren’t fielded as BN candidates in GE15 asked their party and coalition to remain in the opposition.
They included Annuar Musa (Ketereh) and Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (Pasir Salak).
