DAP secretary general Lim Guan Eng has called on Dewan Rakyat speaker Azhar Azizan Harun to immediately meet Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and set a date for the Dewan Rakyat to reconvene.

Guan Eng said that as speaker, Azhar should be prioritising, upholding, defending, and preserving the sovereignty and powers of Parliament by restoring its function as set out in the Federal Constitution.
