PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang said on Sunday that PAS plans to form the next government in Selangor, but was coy about how many seats it planned to contest.
PAS had previously announced that it intends to contest at least 130 parliamentary seats.
If it goes ahead with this plan, PAS would end up contesting more seats than Umno did in the 13th general election. Umno, the largest political party in Malaysia, contested 121 parliamentary seats then and won 88.
