Why can’t we be friendssss?
Ariana Grande’s fans are getting all riled up over one of Halsey’s tour outfits and there’s not really a good reason for the hostility at all. Over the weekend, an Ari fan account tweeted a pretty aggressive message towards Halsey’s latest tour look.
They wrote QUOTE, “B**ch Halsey stole Ariana’s outfit for the Dangerous Woman Tour and she’s using it on her tour.” Along with the tweet, they shared a side by side of both Ariana and Halsey wearing essentially the same outfit: baggy white pants, a huge white duster jacket with a simple white crop top.
Thankfully, the twitter war didn’t get too far. One of Halsey’s fans stepped in to stop the mess by pulling out receipts! Emily shared a bunch of screenshots with timestamps on them and wrote QUOTE, “But uhh, Halsey’s been had this since last year’s Badlands tour. Also, can we not pin female artists against each other, that trend is sad and overused. There’s no need to drag an artist to put your fave up. Support both or just one or keep your mouth shut.”
And Emily’s defense didn’t go unnoticed by her fave. Halsey quoted her fan’s message and said QUOTE, “Love Ari! Didn’t know about this, but it’s cool to me. My encore look varies, but I thought this was a cool badlands throwback. All love.”
See? There’s no need to cause drama. Nothing but love all around.
What did you guys think about this non-existent war? Do you think Ariana’s fan started the drama just to try and get a reaction from Halsey and Ariana? Let me know your thoughts about this in the comment section below. When you’re done with that, click over here to find out why Nicki Minaj slammed fashion magazines over her hair.
