Okay, fine, Iggy probably isn’t the musical savior we all want in the midst of all this drama, but she may be the one we need at this moment in time.
After releasing her last single about a year ago, Iggy is back with brand new music. The rapper added her song, ‘Can’t Lose,’ featuring rapper Lil Uzi Vert to Def Jam’s ‘Direct Deposit Volume 2’ compilation album just to give her fans a taste of what’s to come on her ‘Digital Distortion’ record.
Aside from revealing the addition of her song to Def Jam’s compilation album, Iggy also took to Twitter to explain why she hasn’t released ‘Digital Distortion’ yet.
Iggy wrote in a series of tweets QUOTE, “Hi guys. I have decided to include one of the songs from my upcoming album ‘Digital Distortion’ on the new Def Jam #DirectDeposit tape. Also, I felt it was important to say; I know it’s been a long wait for my album – SORRY! I hope my fans understand my life has been filled with so many personal changes. I felt it was important I made some creative changes too – I needed my album to reflect where my head’s at in 2017. I really appreciate the patience & I’m so excited for all the new music, new visuals, album preorder dates, etc. I’ll be releasing throughout the month of March. Thanks for your support. IGGY.”
