Iggy Azalea’s reps might have initially slammed those sex tape rumors, but it looks like they’re changing their tune just a bit. Yes, as we told you guys on Thursday that a sex tape of a person appearing to be Iggy Azalea was being shopped around, and her lawyers quickly flat out denied it was actually her in the video.
Welp, TMZ is NOW reporting that Iggy’s lawyers are saying there IS a chance that is indeed her featured in the sex tape that’s being shopped around to porn giant Vivid, BUT there’s a definite possibility she was under 18 when it was shot which would make the tape HIGHLY illegal.
Iggy’s lawyers also mentioned that the tape was most likely filmed without Iggy’s knowledge or consent, and is the handy work of an ex-boyfriend who is trying to get revenge on the rapper.
Taking to Twitter, Iggy spoke on the subject herself saying:
“Obviously I've seen the news feed today and i just want to say… I dont have a sex tape but for the record... Anyone who releases or attempts to make profit off someone else's intimate moments against their will is a sex offender. & it honestly makes me sick to see the media encourage any other attitude towards those sorts of people, we should want to protect our women and i really hope that america will follow Europe and their laws to better protect peoples privacy and fundamental rights. and on that note, I'm off to get a manicure. peaaaaccceeeeeee outtttttt *drops the mic*”
Now, Iggy’s statement on Twitter came BEFORE her lawyers confirmed that it might actually be her on the tape. So, we’re kind of getting mixed signals here? Iggy says she doesn’t have a sex tape but her lawyers say she might?
