The Indonesian police and the US' Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have never contacted the Malaysian police regarding the luxury yacht Equanimity, said inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun today.
When pressed on the status of investigations against Low in the 1MDB probe, Fuzi added: "This, I really cannot answer."
The Indonesian police and FBI seized the US$250 million (RM1 billion) Equanimity in Bali, last week.
The DOJ claims that the vessel was bought using funds allegedly siphoned from state sovereign fund 1MDB.
