PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar said that the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) had expressed their concern with the imprisonment and treatment of jailed opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim.
The IPU had expressed their concerns on the closing day of the 136th IPU Assembly in Dhaka, Bangladesh on the 5th of April and had repeated their call for him to be released and reinstated as a Member of Parliament.
