Student activist Asheeq Ali Sethi Alivi, who is representing the Coalition for Academic Freedom-Institute of Higher Learning, expressed his disappointment with their meeting with Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik. Asheeq said the group will give Dr Maszlee a week to resign from his post as the president of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), an institution where Dr Maszlee had lectured for years.
