Normani & Val Give Showstopping DWTS Routine For Week 2 & Get Praised By Judges

Dancing with the Stars continued with week two last night and Normani Kordei killllled it!
Let’s be real, Normani is a great dancer and doesn’t know how to not slay so I’m calling it now, she’s going to win.
Paired with Val Chmerkovskiiy, Normani shined performing a cha-cha routine to Sigala’s “Give Me Your Love.” The duo received the highest score of the night and for those who didn’t know already, realized that Normani is going to be some fierce competition. Check it out:
What makes their flawless performance even more impressive is the fact that hours before their performance, Normani had just hopped off the stage with Fifith Harmony in Japan and after an 11 hour flight she and Val were killing it on Dancing With the Stars. Not to mention that immediately after the show, they hopped right back on a plane to China. That’s what I call dedication. Following the performance, Normani confessed that she was exhausted and downed a cup of coffee before the performance. Normani and Val received rave reviews earning 32 points out of 40 from the judges. Judge Juilanne Hough said that Normani was so amazing that SHE wants to dance with her before adding that she guesses the key to looking amazing is flying to Japan. Carrie Ann called Normani dazzling, a superstar, brilliant, and sexy before adding the cherry on top saying QUOTE – “That was truly dancing with a star.” Len Goodman awarded Normani and Val with the first “8” of the season calling their routine terrific while Bruno joked with Normani saying “jet set…I’m going to fly with you hunny.”
