Nothin but love in the old sisterhood as newest Dancing With The Stars competitor Ally Brooke gushes over Normani and it’s givin’ us all the feelz.
What’s up guys, it’s Sussan Mourad back here on Clevver News, and I am pleased to report to you a positive, drama-free, all-around good vibes bit of news. The cast of Dancing With The Stars Season 28 was just announced and the season’s second member of Fifth Harmony is about to strut her stuff.
Ally Brooke was beaming with excitement while in New York after the announcement was made, as she told Entertainment Tonight she’s QUOTE, “hoping for the best.” She also revealed that she managed to keep the big news a secret all this time, saying, “I have not told anybody, except my family, of course. But, I'm excited to take it on myself.”
And the former Fifth Harmony members have clearly squashed any and all beef that potentially did or didn’t exist. Ally credited Normani during her time on the show explaining how much she looks up to her, saying, “Obviously Normani's experience on the show, being there was amazing. She had the most incredible time. And she, girl, is like a whole other level. She is so amazing and so talented. She did unbelievable.”
Can we just take a moment to “second” what Ally said… I mean did you see her new music video for motivation?!?!
Now Normani, didn’t take home the Mirrorball Trophy in 2017, but girl definitely took what she learned from DWTS and put it to good use!
Ally continued by saying, “I hope I can do the same and I'm ready to go out there. It's gonna be a different experience, definitely a challenge for me. I don't have a big dancing background, but this is going to be so much fun y'all. I'm very excited.”
Ok, ok, so hear me out: A Normani performance of her new hit “Motivation” all WHILE Ally and her dance partner get down to some jive or hip hop. I’m putting it into the universe now, so I’ll be right here to report on it all when it happens.
For now, we have a few weeks to prepare for the season premiere of Dancing With The Stars on September 16th. Ally joins a serious A-Lister crew of celebs including newest Bachelorette Hannah Brown, Lamar Odom, country star Lauren Alaina, ‘90s king Kel Mitchell, Christie Brinkley Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown, and many more, so get those wine nights locked in the calendar, y’all!
In the meantime, I gotta hear all your thoughts on Ally’s sweet comments about Normani, and do you think there could be a partial Fifth Harmony collab on the DWTS stage? Share all your thoughts and predictions on who will take home the mirror ball trophy this year down here in the comments.
