What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas, as Normani Kordei and Val hit the jackpot during last night’s Dancing with the Stars, earning the highest score thus far.
And when they say they ‘saved the best for last,’ more than ever during last night’s show, they really meant it.
She may be busy touring with Fifth Harmony, but after last night’s Dancing with the Stars number, Normani Kordei managed to transform all four judges into honorary Harmonizers for LIFE. The singer SIZZLED in a red-hot floor-length gown alongside her partner Val as the two performed the Foxtrot, earning themselves a standing ovation and the highest score of the season. Take a look:
The two had limited time to learn their newest routine as Normani has been touring in Hong Kong, and Val has been traveling with her in order to get more rehearsal time, soooo I’m gonna have to agree with Tom Bergeron in that this whole jet lag thing is Normani’s good luck ticket because this routine was pure FIRE.
Normani and Val received the highest score of the season thus far, earning a whopping 34 out of 40 from the judges, who gushed about their performance, including Julianne Hough, who mentioned QUOTE, “I can’t imagine how you’re traveling back-and-forth across the world, let alone the country. To me, that was more than a foxtrot. That was a number that you go to see on Broadway or on tour or whatever that is. You own this stage so much.”
And not only did the pair totally crush their last minute routine, but Normani miraculously managed to learn a few steps of the night’s Vegas-themed opening number, while pulling off a hilarious tacky tourist-inspired ensemble.
