If you haven’t fully recovered after Normani’s Tory Lanez cover earlier this year…well, maybe her latest cover will bring you back to life.
The ladies of Fifth Harmony are hard at work on their third album, but that doesn’t mean some of their members can’t step away to do their own thing for a little bit! Following Lauren’s amazing collab song ‘Back to Me’ with Marian Hill, Normani just had to drop a little something of her own.
The singer released a mash-up cover of Drake’s Fake Love and Sneakin’ for all to hear and let me just say, it is muy caliente!
Flex those solo vocals, girl! Normani even took on parts of 21 Savage’s lines from the song and put her own little twist on it.
What. A. Boss. And if you’re wondering why Normani decided to tackle Drake’s songs for her latest cover, wonder no more. The singer talked to MTV News about the Invaders-produced mashup and explained QUOTE, “Drake has been one of the most influential artists in this generation who consistently releases dope material. I respect his artisty so much. He always resonates with me in some way so I decided to get creative and put my own spin on this mashup of his most recent records for my fans to enjoy.”
