Umno supreme council member Isham Jalil was sacked from the party because he went overboard in criticizing its leadership, according to Khaled Nordin.

Sinar Harian reported the party vice party president as saying, Isham’s rogue actions and position as a member of the leadership council, could threaten the party’s stability.

Khaled said any political party, especially large parties like Umno, has to make sure there is no rogue member who can simply shoot their mouth or jeopardize the party’s stability.
