Brace yourself: Jackson Whittemore has returned to Teen Wolf
...and with a boyfriend.
Looks like MTV is making good on their promise to include former cast member cameos in Teen Wolf’s final episodes. A Beacon Hills ending wouldn’t be complete without Colton Haynes character Jackson. In an exclusive new trailer from Entertainment Weekly, we see Jackson back in action. The clip reveals that not only is Jackson back, but with a BOYFRIEND. Jackson is dating Charlie Carver’s character Ethan and living in London as they track down other werewolves together. Watch as Ethan patiently waits for Jackson to surprise him on their anniversary, when Jackson is a no-show.
Their attackers don’t know that Jackson is not JUST part werewolf, and Jackson wards them off in an elaborate fight scene. But it’s what happens after that- which has our eyes glued to the computer screen.
If you recall, Jackson dated Lydia in the early seasons and exited after the second season. And his return has been a long time coming. Showrunner Jeff Davis told EW he made the decision years ago, “I thought, if Jackson comes back, he’s coming back in a relationship with a guy. Whether that means he’s bisexual or gay, that’s how he’s returning. I just felt like he went off to London and found himself.”
Looks like Tyler Posey’s character Scott will have some help hunting down supernaturals in the form of two romantic werewolves.
