Ok so before you mentally prepare to see another smiling mugshot, I am happy to report that the rumors that Justin Bieber was arrested and detained in Rome while shooting a cameo for Zoolander 2 are ONLY rumors.
Scared ya, didn’t I?! So here’s what exactly went down: So apparently Justin was questioned by police early Wednesday at his hotel room in Rome. However, a source tells E! News that QUOTE, "He was questioned but wasn't as serious as they made it seem. He is still in Rome and having a great time."
The interrogation was allegedly in connection with the incident in Argentina involving him, his bodyguard and a photographer, when an Argentinian judge requested for JB to be arrested for ordering his security to assault Diego Pesoa in 2013. So you’re probably thinking, ‘This was like so yesterday, why are they just questioning him now?’ Well, Interpol, Argentina can send out a notice to warn their member states that a suspect is wanted in one particular country. Sounds real intense, BUT come to find out, Justin’s name was not on that list!
And Justin himself also caught wind of the rumor, so naturally he addressed it on Twitter, saying, QUOTE, “Rumors rumors rumors. All good. Comes with the job. Enjoying Italy and appreciate all the kind people here. Thank you. Great food.” So there ya have it… Justin officially won’t be posing in an orange jump suit any time soon.
