While on stage at 1Oak nightclub in New York City, Justin began singing Despacito and that was apparently all he could remember.
CLIP TOSS: Justin singing and forgetting lyrics (TMZ)
In the footage, you hear Justin replacing the actual lyrics with blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Now he was in a nightclub, probably had a little fun before he hit the stage, and just forgot that before he started singing Despacito, he should probably know the lyrics…especially since they are in Spanish. However, if you listened to me singing songs in the car, I make up lyrics ALL the time. I’m not featured on the track though sooo…Anyway, Justin also performed another song at 1 Oak. He performed a remix to Kendrick Lamar’s Humble, but unfortunately, there’s no full version of this one online.
Our favorite line from that performance has to be “I know my name’s Justin, but justice is coming.” I see what you did there Bieber. Justin has collaborated with many rappers in the past and is currently featured on DJ Khaled’s hit song, ‘I’m The One’ that is killing it on the charts. According to Billboard, Bieber made history with Despacito and I’m The One by becoming “the first artist ever to have new Hot 100 No. 1s in back-to-back weeks!” That’s great and all, but now it’s time for you to chime in. Do you think Justin actually forgot the lyrics, or was he just playing around? Also, what did you think of his Humble remix? Sound off in the comments section below and don’t forget to subscribe!
