When Justin Bieber isn’t playing in trees with squirrels or making millions in the form of new Biebermojis, he’s channeling his boyhood by sucking on a good ol’ pacifier, and the Internet sure has some things to say about it.
The Biebs has officially taken his fashion game down from age 22, to a trend that was once meant for age 2, and now his song “Baby” makes all the sense in the world.
It may have shocked you at first glance, but what you may have witnessed all over the Interwebs was indeed a picture of Justin Bieber sucking on a pacifier. And no, this was not in the form of a costume or a dare by any means, this was REAL LIFE PEOPLE.
The world-wide meltdown occurred just Wednesday after Justin took to Instagram to flaunt his questionable fashion trend with two of his childhood friends while vacationing in France, and while Justin made no other reference to the now infamous #PacifierGate, naturally the internet got pretty crafty with countless theories as to why JB is seriously sucking lately… on the pacifier, that is.
Many fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts, like one user, who wrote QUOTE, “I saw a pacifier in Justin Bieber's mouth and I knew this boy's a crackhead.” Ok, that one’s a little aggressive, but another user made a logical assumption saying “justin bieber using pacifier as a method to quit smoking?? hahaha wow”
Justin was also photographed indoors at a table sucking on the soothing device while on his phone, when many fans, too shocked to even make an assumption wrote things like, “22 year old Justin Bieber is still using pacifier? i'm crying”
But one other possible explanation could be due to pacifiers being used as an actual fashion trend among teens in the rave scene during the 90s, and by the looks of JB’s other recent fashion trends, like ripped jeans, doubled-up flannels and oversized band tees, this could be just a fad that will hopefully fade out in no time.
