Kelantan Menteri Besar Nassuruddin Daud sidestepped questions over his salary, which a Malaysiakini report indicated was not commensurate with the state’s gross domestic product (GDP) per capita figures.

“Am I earning that much? Scrutinise it. There’s no need to ask (about salary)," he said.
