K-Pop Group BTS Changes Their Name Meaning & Fans Are FREAKING Out

BTS just changed their name and to nobody’s surprise, the internet has a lot to say about it.
Those sneaky boys thought we weren’t gonna notice… mmhm
Our favorite K-Pop group is going through a major change! Brace yourselves, because if you didn’t get the news, BTS went through some major changes yesterday before most of us had even gotten out of bed. It all started when fans of the K-Pop group were treated to a brand new youtube video just for Army, the band’s ENORMOUS & loyal fan base. In the vid, two logos are revealed- one for BTS and one for Army, but as the vid progresses, the logos become one, and to be honestl, it’s really cool.
After the video’s release, BTS took to Twitter to write QUOTE “Above all, us and army becoming one together has so much meaning that it makes us feel good.” And all the BTS love could be felt around the world. Until some fans started putting two and two together, realizing this was not only a logo reveal but also a NAME CHANGE REVEAL!
From this day forward, BTS no longer stands for Bulletproof Boyscouts. Instead, BTS is now the acronym for Beyond The Scene. And the internet was shocked, to say the least, with one fan speaking for all of us tweeting QUOTE “when I went to sleep bts were bulletproof boy scouts but when I woke up they were beyond the scene what just happened” -@foreheadjeon ()
& one fan had a slightly more intense reaction tweeting QUOTE “is it true that the new meaning of BTS is beyond the scene? Someone please tell me cuz I’m about to scream.
And we love the realization this army member shared saying “now at least now I can proudly say I live in two generations: the bulletproof boyscouts generation and the beyond the scene generations”
But this fan asked the question we all have saying “if they’re called beyond the scene, are we called sceneries”
Hmm… good question.
One thing we know for sure is that it’s been a major year for BTS who were awarded top social artist at their very first iHeartRadio music awards, setting a record amongst K-Pop artists, so Bulletproof Boyscouts or Beyond The Scene…. These boys have our support, and now I want to hear from you!
