For the most part, celebrities like Selena Gomez are just like us. But it’s a whole ‘nother story when they hop off a plane in $700 sweatpants – yes, you heard me. Seven. Hundred. Dollar. Sweatpants.
Sure, Selena looked flawless when she hopped off a plane in Tokyo, Japan. After all, she is the queen of comfy and streetwear, but instead of focusing on her entire retro look, all anyone could even talk about was the price of her $700 – or to be exact 665 dollar sweatpants.
Now, at a glance, Selena’s hunter green sweats look VERY similar to the usual Champion brand sweats that you can find almost anywhere, but if you look even closer at the logo, it shows that her sweats are actually from the French label Vetements and they’re even pricier than your average $20 sweats.
It shouldn’t be a HUGE deal since the singer HAS worn the same pair in black back in May when she was traveling out of LAX -- not to mention she can also afford to drop a ton of money on any item of clothing, but that piece of information wasn’t stopping anyone from having a legit meltdown over the price tag of her latest airport look.
