Selena Gomez Sings NEW Music In The Studio? Fans Freak Out

Selena Gomez is back in the studio, but, she’s not exactly doing what we all think she’s doing…
Um, Selena, you know your fans are dying for new music, so why you gotta play us like that?
A three-day weekend is pretty sweet, but getting new music from Selena Gomez is even sweeter – unfortunately that didn’t happen. Over the weekend, Selenas freaked out her fans after sharing a video of herself dancing along to a song in the studio with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter. Naturally, Selenators assumed the song in the video was a snippet of new music from their queen, but alas, it was not.
While the song playing in the background kinda-sorta sounds like Selena, it’s actually her good friend Julia on the track. Sooo, to sum it up the singer was just there for support. Selena shared the deceiving moment on Instagram and captioned it QUOTE, “When the people who changed your life create magic. Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, I’m so happy for you guys – one of my favorite songs they have ever written.”
What a sweet little love fest. While the ‘Kill ‘Em with Kindness’ singer was just in the studio celebrating her friend’s debut single, fans shouldn’t rule out a possible new Selena single in the near future. After all, we did find out at the end of 2017 from Paulina Rubio that she’s collaborating with Selena on her upcoming album! So there’s always that to look forward to!
