Katy Perry Helps 2 Fans Get ENGAGED Onstage On National Coming Out Day

Katy Perry is currently on the road for her Witness tour and yesterday ‘s show was in Brooklyn. At one point during the show, Katy brought up two fans named Katie and Becky and said that the fan named Katie told her she had a wish. Katy also pointed out that coincidentally there was a prop shooting star suspended in the air right next to them and therefore perfect timing for a wish to be granted. And then something magical happened that is sure to make your heart smile.
Naturally the crowd went wild and Becky was in complete shock. Even Katy fell to the ground with excitement. Katy then ran over to Becky and said - "Say yes, Becky, if you want to get married!" and then Becky said the magic word that made her now fiance’s wish come true. It was a magical moment and Katy took initiative to document the special occasion with a selfie with the lovebirds. Can you imagine posting a photo to announce your engagement and the photo is a selfie with Katy Perry as you’re holding up your hand to show off your ring? It doesn’t get any better than that. KP then revealed to Becky that Katie, the girl who proposed, emailed her asking if they could make the onstage proposal happen and Katy couldn’t resist.
Not to mention that it was also Becky’s birthday and National Coming Out Day! For those who don’t know, National Coming Out Day celebrates those who have come out as LGBTQ and highlight’s the resources and support that are available for those still in the closet.
