Ex-squeeze-Me? Did I just hear that right? Yes, yes you did. Zoolander 2 is about to get bigger and better now that Katy Perry is in on the fun!
Remember when Katy took a short break from her massive Prismatic Tour last July to film “a little cameo in a movie” in Rome? Ahhh.. the pieces are all starting to come together. Turns out Zoolander 2 was filming in the same area at the same time and we all assumed that Katy was making a cameo in the movie, but when the trailer dropped in November and everyone from Justin Bieber to Joe Jonas to Benedict Cumberbatch made appearances, but Queen Katy was nowhere to be found and we all kinda forgot about it?
Well, we’re just weeks away from Zoolander 2 being released in theaters and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better Katy Perry shared an Instagram video of herself singing the classic 80s tune “Relax” by Frankie Goes to Hollywood and out of nowhere, Derek Zoolander, creeps into the camera angle and says… well why don’t you just take a look…
It brings up a lot of personal issues for us too, Derek! Like the fact we have to wait until Febuary 12th to see this movie! Ok, but let’s be real it’s not that far way. Katy captioned the silly Instagram video with, “FASHUN WILL HAPPEN 2.12.16.”
But the real question is, will Katy suffer just like Justin Bieber and the rest of the “worlds most beautiful people,” who are being targeted by assassins in the sequel? I guess we will just have to wait until February 12th to find out. Until then I’ll just sip on my orange mocha frappuccino
