Kendall Jenner SLAMMED for Wearing Fur at Milan Fashion Week

Kendall Jenner is kicking off 2018 by walking in Milan Fashion Week, but her alleged real fur coat has people up in arms.
Another day, another Kardashian-Jenner controversy.
It’s safe to say that Kendall Jenner had a killer 2017. She walked in all of the biggest fashion weeks and constantly made headlines, even if it wasn’t for the best reasons. To top it all off, she was named the highest-paid model in the world by Forbes magazine, beating out supermodels like Karlie Kloss, Jasmine Tookes and her BFF Gigi Hadid by making 22 MILLION dollars from modeling gigs.
Although her fam is constantly being watched by millions, Kendall definitely is the most private of all the sisters. We love cheering her on as we see her model career flourish and she hit the new year off with a bang by adding another catwalk to her resume.
It’s Milan Fashion Week so OF COURSE Kenny is there. On Monday Kendall tweeted out pictures from backstage before she went out on the runway for the fashion brand DSquared2, and instead of getting praise for her looks she started to get SLAMMED for the outfit.
For the show Kendall modeled a massive coat that appears to be made of fur, which prompted many fans to call out the influential model for choosing to work with a brand that still uses real fur for their clothing.
Although it has yet to be confirmed if the coat was real or faux fur, tons of animal-supporters are flooding the reality tv star’s timeline with angry comments.
Mimi Bekhechi, director of international programs at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, AKA PETA, criticized the coat saying QUOTE “At a time when luxury brands from Michael Kors to Gucci are dropping fur… people are rightly gobsmacked to see any label send a mountain of corpses down its catwalk.”
While it’s important to know that models rarely have a choice in what they wear down the aisle, some people think that KJ should be more aware of who she is working with before she accepts a job.
And tons of other fans have encouraged Kendall to use her platform to raise awareness for the importance of using faux-fur. Some even questioned if she remembered that her older sister Khloe Kardashian did a no-fur ad in collaboration with PETA in the past.
Yikes. We’re only 17 days into the new year and we already have more controversies and scandals than we count.
