Kendall reveals that modeling didn’t come to her as easy as it may look. We have the surprising admission right here on Clevver News.
Nowadays Kendall Jenner is in every magazine, walking runways for the most renowned high fashion designers, and is the face of Estee Lauder, one of the oldest and most regarded beauty brands in America .Between her flawless skin and legs that are longer than the list of people that have made out with Miley Cyrus, it may seem like modeling came easy to Kendall.
Well, in a shocking admission in her latest feature in V magazine, Kendall says QUOTE "You have no idea how many doors closed on me and how many adults were either initially reluctant to take a chance working with me or who outright laughed at me behind my back.”
The brunette beauty is pictured in some stunning black and white photos, stripped down all the way to her Calvin Klein skivvies. And it is Calvin Klein who has donned Kendall with her first ever Billboard. Excited about the new campaign she told the mag , "This will be my first billboard on Sunset, which I'm ecstatic about. It's really humbling, and honestly, I am a pretty shy person, but being part of the Calvin campaign and seeing myself up there will be a dream come true. I might have to eat every night at the Chateau Marmont with that hanging over my shoulder. 'Oh yeah, that little thing? I didn't notice!'"
But it wasn’t always billboards and smiles, as Kendall mentioned. She says that she is appreciateive of the people who took a chance on her during her first fashion season. She says QUOTE "It was kind of hard because all I was doing was going on go-sees, trying my best to break into this business as a teenager. I am so grateful to Marc Jacobs, Riccardo Tisci, Karl Lagerfeld, and Katie Grand, [who] me an opportunity. My parents taught me that work ethic is one of the most important keys in life, and I believe it."
