Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the government’s move towards decriminalising suicide is the first step in efforts to improve mental healthcare in the country.

He was speaking during the launch of the Mental Health Strategic Plan (2020-2025), which was livestreamed online yesterday via video conference and social media, in conjunction with World Mental Health Day.
